DraftKings is no longer exclusive for daily fantasy sports since it has begun offering blackjack to clients. It has also expanded its reach by offering its platform to New Jersey players.
On Monday, DraftKings announced its transition into a multi-vertical powerhouse that seeks to offer more varied services to its customers. Alongside this, the company launched its NJ online casino platform, according to Online Poker Report.
Apart from the usual fantasy sports, DraftKings Casino now offers blackjack. However, only the Android platform is up for the time being. The iOS version is set to launch for Apple devices in the near future. It’s also not available on the web version of the platform.
DraftKings Casino is integrated with the DraftKings Sportsbook app. This means users will only have access to it via the Android app for the time being. This also means that players can easily transition from betting on sports to partaking in a few hands of blackjack without having to exit the app, as per NJ Gambling Sites.
DraftKings’ move to joining the New Jersey casino market should not come as a surprise. This year, online gambling in the Garden State flourished so well that the industry earned more than $25 million last month.
In October, DraftKings topped the sportsbook industry in New Jersey with its $5.09 million total revenue. Trailing behind it was FanDuel, which raked in $2.43 million in total, as pointed out by Metro.us.
