DraftKings made a big move when it decided to combine online casino elements to its famous sports betting platform. This week, the company continues to up the ante by introducing new games to the mix.
On Tuesday, DraftKings launched new Live Dealer casino games on its platform for New Jersey players and they are as follows:
- Baccarat ($1 minimum bet)
- Blackjack ($5-$20 minimum bet)
- Roulette ($1 minimum bet) and Slingshot Roulette ($0.10 minimum bet)
- Three Card Poker ($0.50 minimum bet)
- Ultimate Texas Hold ’Em ($0.50 minimum bet)
DraftKings’ Live Dealer games are only available on the mobile sports betting app since the company has yet to port its platform to desktop. However, many believe that it’s only a matter of time until that happens.
Speaking of why they decided to add more casino games to their platform, DraftKings executive James Chisholm said, “iGaming performance has significantly outpaced our internal projections, and there was tremendous crossover between sports betting and iGaming during the Super Bowl.”
DraftKings officially launched the casino section of its sports betting app in mid-December. At launch, only blackjack was offered to players. However, this quickly changed with the launch of new games including online slots, video poker, and roulette in early January.
