One lucky Mega Millions player could become $267 million richer in a matter of minutes when this Friday’s drawing comes to a close. The staggering jackpot will surely be life-changing, so hold on to your tickets and tune in as the lottery balls are being drawn.
The previous jackpot amounting to $235 million was not won on Tuesday, so Mega Millions added more to the prize and accumulated a hefty amount for tonight’s draw. Five white numbers will be drawn and one yellow number would help determine the lucky prize winner. There is also a Megaplier that would increase the prizes of the Match 5.
In the previous drawing, three ticket holders in California, New York and Pennsylvania had a Match 5, but none of them played the Megaplier. Hence, all lost their chance of winning $3 million each. But then there’s no reason for them to not be happy as they each brought home $1 million.
