Last Wednesday, the jackpot was at $242 million while the cash value was valued at $148.1 million. Unfortunately (or fortunately), no one was declared grand prize winner. This is good news for people who bought tickets for this Saturday’s drawing.
In the previous event, two players matched all five white numbers. The winners were from California and Florida. They each won $1 million. Both failed to increase their winnings to $2 million because they did not play the Power Play option.
Seven lucky ticket holders in Michigan won $200. That was said to be the largest prize won in the state in the previous drawing. Meanwhile, a total of 707,196 tickets sold before Wednesday’s draw won at least $4.
The next Powerball draw is set to happen this Saturday, Feb. 16. As mentioned earlier, the grand prize is a whopping $260 million. There is also a one-time cash option worth $159.1 million.

- The White Powerball Numbers are 29-30-41-48-64.
- The Red Powerball Number is 1.
- The Power Play Number is 4x.
Powerball is available in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Each ticket costs $2 and players get to choose five white numbers from 1 to 69 and one red ball from 1 to 26. For an additional $1 per play, the Power Play feature multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 times.
