One lucky ticket holder could have a life-changing moment after tonight’s Powerball draw. The new jackpot prize is a massive $186 million.
The $174 million jackpot for the July 24 draw was not won. And since America’s well-loved lottery is cumulative, the jackpot for Tuesday night’s draw has gotten bigger.
For this week’s first draw, the jackpot prize is a whopping $186 million while the cash option is $134.6 million.

Powerball is available in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Each ticket costs $2 and players get to choose five white numbers from 1 to 69 and one red ball from 1 to 26. For an additional $1 per play, the Power Play feature multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 times.
