It’s another exciting day for Powerball patrons as another draw is about to happen tonight, and the jackpot prize at stake is much bigger than last week’s offer.
The Powerball draw for Aug. 7 had a $226 million jackpot and $164.8 million cash option. Unfortunately, no one got lucky in winning the life-changing prize.
This Wednesday, ticket holders should hold on to their stubs as the new jackpot is a massive $241 million jackpot and a cash option amounting to $175 million.

Powerball is available in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Each ticket costs $2 and players get to choose five white numbers from 1 to 69 and one red ball from 1 to 26. For an additional $1 per play, the Power Play feature multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 times.
